Are reactors safe in dysfunctional nuke submarines

In the shipyard a nuclear submarine of Russia got damaged badly due to the fire but two reactors were safe. However in-spite of the Russian Nuclear submarine damage there has not been no radiation leak stated the military. On Thursday afternoon the fire broke down and was caused mainly when the welding repairs was taken up. The welding repairs was taken up at the Yekaterinburg submarine in a dry dock at the Roslyakovo shipyard.

The shipyard at which the submarine is situated is ar the northern fleet of Russia area and in the Murmansk region. There was a blaze first seen are the wooden scaffolding and spread towards the rubberized coating in the nose section. An eye witness has taken up the video which showed the huge flames along with the black smoke reaching out the night sky. To the rescue eleven fire brigades,two navy fire ships and several helicopters had come and prevented the fire.

The blaze of fire was fought by these equipments for about 20 hours and saved if not the whole submarine must have slipped down. Due to the smoke poisoning there was seven seamen and two fireman being hospitalized stated one of the official. There was two reactors in the submarine which was switched off and including the nuclear missiles and conventional ammunition was removed. To repair the damage submarine a period of six months will be needed stated some of the experts. However in-spite of the damage there has not been any threat of nuclear radiation leak but further the consequences may go bad.
