Filed under: Tech — admin @ 12:44 am

Today i found out a useful resource site www.application-error.net, that helps you with identifying windows processes and application that are running in the OS background when you were left pondering over an error that appears out of nowhere and also experiencing slow computers which is like adding salt to the wound!

Now you may probably are wondering what those background process are and how can i see it? Relax, i can show you how! Click Start and select Run from the menu, and then type ‘taskmgr’ without quotes and press enter key! The task manager window opens up, navigate to processes to see the background processes that are running and how much memory they are consuming. From that you can see what consumes the more memory and terminate them when you don’t need them. Some processes are needed for the continued running of OS refer to application-error.net to see what are the critical windows processes. Not only that, if you see anything suspicious, search for it in the application-error.net and you’d possible get a post or two explaining about the process in great length.

Let’s get random and say i need to lookup khalmnpr.exe virus, boom! the site has it! The application is logitech’s setpoint for blutooth mice and keyboard, and it looks like there are viruses out there disguised in the name of this application. Who would have thought that. Thanks to www.application-error.net!

This is really upsetting for Comcast customers, especially those who download a lot of things. By Oct. 1 they plan to implement a 250GB (the cap limit may change) monthly download cap on residential users. According to Jennifer Khoury, a Comcast spokeswoman, less than 1% of their customers exceed the cap. As for customers who do exceed the limit, Comcast said it would not fine them nor cancel their service but simply give them a call to make them aware that they’ve exceeded the cap.
