GPS devices help convict criminals

Eric Hanson used his GPS to get directions, but what he didn’t know was that prosecutors could use it to catch him. He was convicted for killing family members. Prosecutors from Chicago used the data from his Garmin GPS to pinpoint where he had been. Hanson’s trial was one of the recent cases where authorities had used GPS to capture the individual they were seeking.
