Pacific Island jumps by a day
Samoa island has ditched the time zone alliance as given by US and has moved its time zone ahead. The main reason for Samoa to skip a day was to go ahead and to catch up with Asia,New Zealand and Australia. On the next new year Samoa has jumped towards the west countries time zone and into the international dateline. Samoa has run into the zig zag through the pacific ocean and crossed the line of about 180 degree longitude.
The move of skipping a day would even help for Samoa to trade along with the key partners stated the prime minster Tuilaepa Sailele. There will no longer the people will call and have any contacts between new Zealand and Australia. The details was being revealed by the prime minster about the skipping a day to ther Radio New Zealand on Friday. There would be a lot of confusion being ended especially in the travel times and for the tourists.
When people think about the Samoa in comparison with the time of New Zealand and Australian but confusion is avoided. According to the Samoa Observer newspaper editor stated that people are rather calm about the changes since it doesn’t make large difference. Even on the missing Friday people will be paid for and banks will not be allowed to charge for the interest. There will be new maps which will need to change and countries are free to choose from the deadline.
