Process Errors

Filed under: General — admin @ 11:27 pm

Our system has many processes which run concurrently in the background. A operating system is basically a huge multi threaded program which has several thousand operations and processes executing in parallel or in a sequential fashion. If you have ever checked the task manager in your windows system it will show the list of processes which are currently running and also the percentage of memory which they are consuming. Many of the windows users will use the Norton Anti virus package and some other symantec tools for protecting against the virus attacks. Generally these applicatiosnw ill be constantly running in the background for constant monitoring and hence will consume a good amount of the memory.

Even when the system is in an idle state the process will be running and the fluctuation will be there. The appsvc32.exe executable file is automatically configured and starts running along with the Norton pack. Some of the systems will classify it as a malware and all the detection mechanisms will be turned on. It is vital to have some sort of registry cleaning method to safe guard against the malware running and make the optimal usage. The Application error site has a lot of information on this issue.
